Armagh City, Banbridge & Craigavon (ABC) Borough Council: Large Capital Project Fund

Aims to fund high quality capital projects that could bring significant local benefit with only a relatively small percentage of funding required. Project value must be greater than £10,000 and grants awarded are £2,501 - £75,000 at a maximum rate of 25% of eligible costs.

Scott Bader: Commonwealth Global Charity Fund

Global Charity Fund for young or disadvantaged people, especially anyone suffering deprivation and discrimination, such as poor, homeless and vulnerable women and children, Minority communities, particularly if affected by: poverty, lack of education, malnutrition and disease. (Note they will only consider applications for funding of projects overseas from UK registered charities or charities already known to them.)

The National Lottery Community Fund (UK Office): Climate Action Fund

Supports communities across the UK to take action on climate change, demonstrating what is possible when people take the lead in tackling climate change. Funding from up to £200,000 over 18 months to £2.5 million over 5 years depending on what partnerships need at the time of application.

Through the Community Foundation NI, the IFA are offering grants of up to £2500 to support standalone disability clubs catering for any impairment specific disability (i.e. wheelchair, deaf, autism, downs syndrome, visual impairment etc).

Funded under the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affair’s Tackling Rural Poverty and Social Isolation Programme, this programme offers micro Capital grants of between £200 and £1,500 to rural community-led, voluntary organisations for projects tackling issues of local poverty and / or social isolation.
