The Weinstock Fund
An independent grant-making trust which funds a wide range of charitable causes, particularly in the fields of welfare, children, education, medicine, music and the arts. Charities must be registered in the UK. The Fund tends not to support research projects or projects based abroad.

Allen Lane Foundation
Funds small registered charities, voluntary groups, and charitable organisations across the UK working on causes which they believe to be unpopular both in society, and with other funders. They aim to help organisations to become sustainable and will support core costs. Average grant size is £5000 to £6000.

NFU Mutual Charitable Trust
The Trust focuses on providing funding to larger initiatives, which are likely to have a significant impact on the rural community. The Trustees are particularly interested in initiatives in the areas of education of young people in rural areas and relief of poverty within rural areas.

The CO3 Leadership Awards
The awards are an opportunity to reflect and recognise all that is achieved on a daily basis by Third Sector leaders. There are 12 different award categories and Award winners will gain a place on a three-day leadership development programme in Sweden, where they can learn from and share with their Swedish peers.

Leeds Building Society Charitable Foundation
Makes donations of up to £1,000 to UK registered charities towards practical items that directly support those in need including those with disabilities, affected by homelessness, or with serious health issues. Donations are normally in the range of £250 to £1000.

ESB: Energy for Generations Fund
Provides €1 million in direct funding through a quarterly fund to charities working in the areas of suicide prevention, alleviation of homelessness and education access and support. The majority goes to registered charities. Organisations just starting up can be funded if the project has merit.
