NEW! Community Foundation for NI: Pears Community Spaces Fund
Small grants of up to £5,000 where community and voluntary groups are able to demonstrate a partnership approach that evidences need and joint working. The grant could be for using a shared space in their local community or to carry out joint activities or events aimed at bringing different communities together, whether that be communities of faith, ethnicity, neighbourhood or of different backgrounds.

Leeds Building Society Charitable Foundation
Donations of up to £1,000 to UK registered charities towards practical items that directly support those in need including those with disabilities, affected by homelessness, or with serious health issues. Donations are for capital expenditure. That means items must directly help those in need, rather than contributing to the charity's running costs.

The Froebel Trust: Innovation Grants
Offers Innovation Grants of 1-2 years to enable the application of Froebelian principles in new areas and environments in order to support children up to 8 years of age to play expressively and creatively. The Trust has allocated a fund of £40,000 in 2019 for Innovation Grants.

W G Edwards Charitable Foundation
Grants for projects relating to the provision of care for older people. The Foundation assists with capital projects, refurbishment and equipment in addition to innovative schemes for ongoing care. Around 70 organisations each year are successful in obtaining grants with the average grant £1,700.

Co-Op Local Community Fund
Supports projects that make a difference to local communities near to their stores and funeral homes. (Preference for small, local organisations.) Your project must either help a local community come together to save, build, fix or improve indoor or outdoor local spaces, support the mental or physical health of a community through wellbeing activities or help people reach their full potential by developing their skills.

John Hewitt Society: Summer School Bursary Scheme
The Bursary Scheme creates opportunities for those who would not otherwise be able to attend the Summer School to participate in discussions and debates around building a stronger shared community in post-conflict NI.
