Charities Aid Foundation (CAF): CAF Tourle Foundation Fund
The CAF Tourle Foundation Fund awards grants of up to £5000 grants to local charitable organisations delivering services for local people in all parts of the UK Their target audience are small place based charitable organisations with an income of under £50,000 p/a providing a service to the heart of their community.

Social Tech Trust Funding: Seed Funding
Support to enable entrepreneurial organisations with a basic, but functional, digital prototype to develop it into a more robust product or service and demonstrate its value. £15,000 to £50,000 for a project of 9-12 months, support package and access to a discretionary fund of up to £5,000 should you need access to specific expertise to support your early-stage development.

The DWF Foundation, founded by DWF LLP provides funds, resources and support for registered charities to help communities achieve their full potential. The priorities are Homelessness, Health & Wellbeing, Employability and Education. The majority of their grants will fall under £5,000.

Woodward Charitable Trust: Playschemes
One of the Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts. Grants for summer playschemes for children between the ages of 5-16 years. Most grants awarded are in the range of £500 to £1,000. Around 35 grants are made each year. (only for playschemes that run for a minimum of 2 weeks or 10 days across the summer holidays.)

BBC Children in Need: Curiosity
Curiosity is a partnership between BBC Children in Need and the Wellcome Trust providing small grants – up to £10,000 a year for up to three years and large grants – up to £40,000 a year for up to three years to fund projects that engage children and young people in science based activities. Projects should encourage young people to be curious about the world around them, making a positive difference in their lives.
