Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust

Gives grants to UK registered charities towards UK projects Every year, they focus on particular areas to support on a 3 year cycle.  For 2018 the categories are Medical (non-research) and Community.  Grant of £1000 or £5000 are available depending on your operating income.

ChurchCare: Fabric Repairs

Grants offered by The Wolfson Foundation and ChurchCare in partnership are available for PCCs towards the eligible costs of essential fabric repairs in architecturally or historically significant Anglican churches in England, Wales, Scotland and NI.

SSE Airtricity Community Fund

The SSE Airtricity Community Fund supports communities within a 12-mile radius of each of their 29 wind farms through an annual fund, which is distributed to local activities and projects with a focus on energy efficiency, safety, social and environmental sustainability.   In NI, they also support local students in Counties Tyrone and Derry~Londonderry through the SSE Airtricity Scholarship.

Belfast Strategic Partnership: Active Belfast Grants

Working through the Belfast Strategic Partnership, the Active Belfast Grants Scheme aims to encourage Belfast people to be more active and healthier.  If you have an innovative and sustainable project which includes partnership working and enables more people in Belfast to be physically active and eat healthier, you may be eligible for a large citywide grant of £25,000 or a small grant of £10,000.

Weavers' Company Benevolent Fund

Up to £15,000 (usually one year) grants to organisation with an income under £250,000 for projects which support people in trouble, particularly young offenders and ex-offenders, and other disadvantaged young people. Preference is given to pump priming new projects.

Elephant Trust

The Elephant Trust provides grants for artists and institutions that depart from the routine and signal new, distinct and imaginative sets of possibilities.  Grants have usually been limited to £2,000 but larger grants may be considered.
