Public Health Agency: Elevate Mentoring & Grants Programme

Funded through the Public Health Agency, Elevate will provide £5000 grants and mentoring for 5 local groups/organisations in each Health & Social Care Trust area to take part in a five-month programme from October 2019 to February 2020 tackling health inequalities.

The Tampon Tax Community Fund

The Tampon Tax Fund allocates the funds generated from the VAT on sanitary products to projects that improve the lives of disadvantaged women and girls. Grants of up to £10,000 are available for work throughout the UK which aims​ ​to​ ​support​ ​women​ ​who​ ​are​ ​most​ ​marginalised​ ​to​ ​overcome​ ​barriers that​ ​prevent​ ​them​ ​from​ ​fulfilling​ ​their​ ​potential. ​

Social Justice Small Grants Programme

Aims to support locally based community groups and locally based ‘communities of interest’ with an interest in promoting or embedding human rights and social justice in their day to day work for and with their chosen communities.

Genetic Disorders UK: Jeans for Genes Grants

Genetic Disorders UK organises the annual Jeans for Genes Day fundraising event, when children and adults are encouraged to wear their jeans to school or to work in exchange for a small donation. Monies raised on Jeans for Genes Day fund grants for charities and support groups that care for children affected by a genetic disorder. Applications are invited for grants up to a maximum of 5,000.

Esme Mitchell Trust

The Esme Mitchell Trust funds general charitable purposes in Ireland as a whole but principally in Northern Ireland. It has a particular interest in heritage, culture and the arts.  NB this is administered by Cleaver Fulton Rankin and you will need to contact them directly for more information if you do not subscribe to GrantTracker.

The IMPACT awards are designed to recognise and reward charities that are doing excellent work to improve people’s health. They are funded by GlaxoSmithKline and managed in partnership with The King’s Fund.

National Churches Trust: Foundation Grants - for Maintenance

The Foundation Grant Programme offers grants of between £500 and £3,000 towards urgent maintenance works and small repairs identified as high priority within a recent Quinquennial Inspection or Survey Report. Also, small investigative works and surveys. Project costs should not exceed £10,000.
