Nesta: Arts & Culture Impact Fund

The Arts & Culture Impact Fund is a new £20 million impact investment fund for the UK’s arts, culture and heritage social enterprises. The fund offers loans between £150,000 and £1 million repayable over a period of up to ten years.

Groundwork NI: Whitemountain Programme

Since its inception in 2007, this programme has distributed over £6 million of Landfill Communities Fund funding to over 200 community and biodiversity projects.  Grants of up to £50,000 are available to fund projects making a positive impact at ground level, either developing facilities for community use or encouraging bio-diversity and environmental improvements.

Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust

Provides funding for projects which aim benefit or protect animals, relieve animals from suffering, conserve wild life and encourage the understanding of animals.  Since being set up in 1982, the Trust has given over £9.5 million to animal welfare charities.

Key Dates for your Fundraising Diary

Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council: Community Festivals Grant

Constituted community and voluntary organisations can apply for a grant of £1,000 to £3,500 to deliver a community festival in their area.   Events must also provide city-wide benefit and meet the council’s wider priorities around equality, community cohesion and place-shaping.

Weavers' Company Benevolent Fund

Grants of up to £15,000 a year to support people in trouble, particularly young offenders and ex-offenders, and other disadvantaged young people. Preference is given to pump priming new projects, especially those which are innovatory and can serve as a model elsewhere.

William and Jane Morris Fund: Church Conservation Grants

This church conservation scheme awards grants of £500-£5000 to churches, chapels and other places of worship in the UK for the conservation of decorative features and monuments, but not structural repairs.
