The Weinstock Fund
A reasonably small independent grant-making trust which funds a wide range of charitable causes, particularly in the fields of welfare, children, education, medicine, music and the arts. Charities must be registered in the UK and the Fund tends not to support research projects or projects based abroad.

Beatrice Laing Trust
Focus is on the relief of poverty and the advancement of the evangelical Christian faith, both at home and abroad. Financial support is given to a wide range of charities seeking to relieve poverty in its broadest sense, both throughout the UK and overseas.

D'Oyly Carte Charitable Trust
Funds UK registered charities operating in the UK in the fields of the advancement of the arts, health and medical welfare and environmental protection or improvement. Grants are usually in the range £500 - £5,000.

Kennel Club Charitable Trust
A dog charity that looks after the health and welfare of all dogs. They fund a wide variety of work ranging from supporting research into canine diseases, dog welfare organisations and the promotion of support dogs, all of which give dogs a healthier, happier life.

Ironmongers Foundation
Supports projects that provide opportunities for disadvantaged children and young people to fulfil their potential. Grants range from a few hundred pounds up to around £10,000. The average grant awarded is £4,000. Grants are only given to registered charities.

Help the Homeless
Grants (generally up to £5,000) for capital costs to small and medium-sized registered charities only (those with a turnover of under £1m per annum) for projects that assist individuals in their return to mainstream society, rather than simply offer shelter or other forms of sustenance.
