Arts Councils of Northern Ireland: Travel Awards

Enables individual artists and established music groups (up to 4 members) to travel from NI to develop their skills and expertise.  Support can be provided for Project assistance, Travel grants and Residencies

The Henry Smith Charity - Christian Projects Grants

Support projects that explicitly promote the Christian faith in the UK.  Value projects that set out to nurture and grow people’s journey in Christian faith and grow churches, and only support work that comes from a Church of England context, or, that is fully ecumenical. Grants usually 10,000+ per year.  Grants can be for up to 3 years but most are for 1-2 years.

The Discovery Foundation: Discovery Grants

In 2016, The Santander Foundation became The Discovery Foundation. Aims to help people have the confidence to make the most of their future. Grants from roughly £200 - £5000 for projects that improve people’s knowledge, skills or which provide innovative solutions to overcome social challenges.

The Honourable The Irish Society: Northern Ireland Small Grants Fund

Seeks to help small NI charitable organisations (with less than 250K pa operating income).  Grants of up to £2,000 for capital items.  Priority given to applicants working in the following areas: Alcohol & substance misuse, Elderly people, Disabled people, Homelessness, Disadvantaged minority communities, Prisoners & Ex offenders, Disadvantaged young people, Visual impairment and Domestic & sexual violence

Aviva Community Fund

Offers support and funding for inspirational local causes.  Projects can receive funding of from up to £1000 up to £25,000.  You can vote for your favourite NI nominee and help them continue their great work

Funds UK registered charities in the advancement of the arts, health and medical welfare and environmental protection or improvement. Usually 1 year grants from £500 - £5,000.

Triangle Trust: 1949 Fund

Offers development grants to develop sustainable income sources for specialist community and voluntary organisations working with carers or the rehabilitation of offenders or ex-offenders within the UK.  Grants of up to £80,000 over 3 years, with a maximum of £35,000 in year one.
