West Belfast Partnership: Aisling Bursaries

The Aisling Bursaries aim to help students defray their education and training costs.  All applications are considered, with special consideration given to candidates who have significant barriers preventing them from realising their full potential through education, for example economic or family circumstances.  If you’re over 18, studying, and live in the West Belfast Westminster Parliamentary Electoral Constituency area; you could be eligible for a bursary of up to £1,000.

NI Screen: Ulster Scots Broadcast Fund

The overarching aim of the Ulster-Scots Broadcast Fund (USBF) is to ensure that the heritage, culture and language of Ulster-Scots are expressed through moving image and also to foster the Ulster-Scots independent production sector in NI and to fund high quality Ulster-Scots cultural TV programmes for a NI audience.

Support Adoption for Pets

Pets at Home are the number one financial supporter of pet rescues in the UK, donating nearly £2million every year.  Support Adoption For Pets provides funding to pet rescue organisations for purposes which make a real difference to the welfare of UK domestic pets in rescue and aim to reduce the number of domestic pets in rescue

Key Dates for your Fundraising Diary

The Honourable The Irish Society: Northern Ireland Small Grants Fund

The Fund seeks to help small charitable organisations operating in NI with grants of up to £2,000 for capital items.  Priority will be given to applicants working with addiction, older people, homelessness, disadvantaged minority communities, prisoners & ex-offenders, disadvantaged young people, visual impairment and domestic & sexual violence.

Public Health Authority/NIAMH/Comic Relief: Change Your Mind Small Grants Scheme

Change Your Mind is NI’s regional campaign to tackle stigma and discrimination around mental health.  This small grants scheme offers non-recurring grants of either up to £500 for individuals and both non-constituted and constituted community groups or up to £1000 for constituted community groups only.  Projects need to demonstrate contributions to building capacity, emotional resilience and mental and emotional wellbeing.

The Henry Smith Charity - Holiday Grants for Children

One off grants of up to £2,500 for organisations, schools, youth groups etc specifically for holidays or outings for children under the age of 13 who are disabled or who live in areas of high deprivation.
