Woodward Charitable Trust: General Grants

One of the Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts which favours UK  charities making good use of volunteers, encouraging past and current users to participate and small-scale, locally based initiatives. Funding is primarily for one-off projects, but they may consider funding running costs (including core cost and salaries).

Community Foundation for NI: Pressure Group Fund

The Pressure Group Fund has been established in recognition of the contribution groups and people in our society, who are working towards supporting social change, can make through direct civic action, lobbying and engagement.  Provides up to £500 initial investment with the possibility of a further £500 being made available within the financial year, if appropriate.

Garfield Weston Foundation

One of the largest grant-making trusts in the UK supporting the broadest range of charitable purposes.  They have two main streams of activity:  Major Grants - £100,000 and above and Regular Grants - ranging from £1,000 - £99,999.  They fund approximately 1,500 charities of varying sizes and types across the UK each year.

Grow Wild: Community Project Funding

Grow Wild is awarding funding of £2,000 or £4,000 to community groups that want to bring people together through activities that connect their community and celebrate UK native wild flowers, plants and/or fungi. Groups will begin delivery of their project in March 2018 and finish by October 2018.

Rosa: Woman to Woman Fund

Grants are available for groups with an income of under £100,000 per year, to support a wide range of charitable work that benefits women: from building confidence and leadership skills, tackling harassment and violence, to training in financial literacy and increasing engagement in decision-making, etc.

Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council: Making Art in Communities (Mac)

Making Art in Communities Funding Programme (MAC) is to support constituted community groups/organisations based in the Council area to participate in, develop or promote the Arts. Up to £1500 is available for any one organisation in each financial year.
