Co-operative Local Community Fund

The Co-operative Local Community Fund are looking to fund 3 projects led by small, locally based organisations in each of around 1,500 local communities across the UK.

Edge Fund

They support work run by and for communities facing discrimination and injustice and work that aims to create systemic change. They fund individuals and small grassroots groups that find it difficult to get funding elsewhere.  This is a very small fund, with the maximum grant being £3,000 for groups and £1,000 for individuals.

Museums Association

The Museums Association provides award to: to promote the conservation of dress and textiles of all periods and their display; for the conservation of social history artefacts in small museums and; for the purchase of pictures and works of art not later than the eighteenth century in date.

LCDI (Limavady Community Development Initiative): Small Capital Grant

On behalf of DfC, Limavady Community Development Initiative (LCDI)  are awarding capital grants between £1,500 – £5,000 for NI projects involving partnerships or consortia which directly support the key objectives of DfC’s Volunteering Strategy and Action Plan.

Comic Relief: HIV, Diversity and Dignity

Comic Relief’s HIV, Diversity and Dignity initiative will simultaneously build the capacity of Key Populations and their organisations to remove structural barriers like stigma, which stop these groups from accessing services, give them a voice and improve the policy environment to claim their rights. This initiative will also strengthen livelihoods for Key Populations.

The Acorn Fund Legacy Grant Programme

The Acorn Fund is an independent, local area fund managed by the Community Foundation for Northern Ireland.  The Fund is offering a grant-making programme to promote community-based Arts and Culture projects in Derry/Londonderry.
