Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland: Community Grant Programme

The Community Grants Programme supports underfunded, grassroots charities that enable people, especially disabled and disadvantaged people, to play a fuller role in society. Open to registered charities (or those on the “deemed list” with an income of less than £1 million.   Grants are for one year only and the average grant is currently £3400.

Rathsherry Community Benefit Fund

Set up by Energia Renewables, working in close partnership with local groups from the areas surrounding Rathsherry Windfarm.  Grants will be delivered annually for the benefit of community initiatives.  The fund value will be £44,062 per annum (plus fees) for a period of 25 years.

Allchurches Trust

Provides grants to Anglican churches, churches of other denominations and the Christian community with an emphasis on heritage, care and the community.  In general, charitable projects should have a Christian foundation.

Spaces for Change (S4C) is a UK wide programme that finds, funds, supports and connects young people aged 16-24 to start and run social ventures that unlock the potential of unused or under-utilised spaces for the benefit of the local community, especially other young people.

Building the Community Pharmacy Partnership (BCPP)

Aims to promote and support local communities to work in partnership with community pharmacists to address local health and social wellbeing needs using a community development approach.  Level 2 funding provides grants of up to 10K for those working in partnership on a 1-year project.

Aviva Community Fund

The Aviva Community Fund offers support and funding for inspirational local causes. The scheme aims to help both large charities and smaller ones who may otherwise find it difficult to gain financial backing or recognition. Projects can receive funding of from up to £1000 up to £25,000.  Vote for your favourite NI project now!!!

The ARN Foundation: Mental Health Theme

The ARN Foundation’s Mental Health Fund will support organisations to deliver projects in support of people affected by poor mental health.  It offers grants of up to £10,000 to projects which must take no more than 12 months to complete.
