The National Lottery Community Fund: Empowering Young People

Funds projects that give young people in NI aged 8-25 the ability to cope with challenges in their lives. Funding of between £10,000 to £500,000 is available for projects that last between one to five years. ( NB The National Lottery Community Fund is the new name for the Big Lottery Fund)

National Vegetarian Week

As part of National Vegetarian Week in May, small grants of up to £200 are available and larger grants of up to £2000 to help fund community activities and events.

The Strategic Legal Fund for Vulnerable Young Migrants (SLF)

Funds strategic legal work in any area of law where vulnerable young migrants experience disadvantage or discrimination as a result of migration status. The Strategic Legal Fund for Vulnerable Young Migrants is now managed by the Immigration Law Practitioners' Association (ILPA).

The Fisher Foundation provides young people with a bursary award towards carrying out voluntary work overseas.  (It also provides support to motor clubs and other relevant organisations to improve safety standards on rally events. Young Rally Driver Safety Award.)

The Marc Fitch Fund

Makes small grants towards the costs of publishing scholarly work in the fields of British and Irish national, regional and local history, archaeology, antiquarian studies, historical geography, the history of art and architecture, heraldry, genealogy and surname studies, archival research, artefact conservation and the broad fields of the heritage, conservation and the historic environment.

Joan Trimble Bursary Awards

Bursaries of up to £1000 are available for individuals up to and including 25 years of age in Fermanagh to support training, education and practical experience in the fields of the creative/performing arts and Irish culture.
