Comic Relief: Intermediary Funding to Reach Grassroots, Community-led Organisations

£1million funding pot available for NI intermediary funders with ho have the expertise, networks and local knowledge to work with community-led grassroots organisations to bring about change across their 4 strategic themes: Children Survive & Thrive, Fighting for Gender Justice, A Safe Place to Be and Global Mental Health Matters

Comic Relief: Safe Place To Be (Preventing Homelessness & Insecure Shelter)

Funding for projects preventing homelessness and insecure shelter in the UK, India, South Africa, Zambia and Nigeria.  Funding is available for 3-5 years, single applicants can apply for between £150k to £300k and consortiums can apply for up to £750k.  Can cover core costs/ overheads, project costs or a mixture of the two.

ChurchCare: Fabric Repairs

Grants are available for PCCs towards the eligible costs of essential fabric repairs in architecturally or historically significant Anglican churches in the UK (Grade I & II listed). Grants are offered by The Wolfson Foundation and ChurchCare in partnership and can fund roof and masonry repairs and rainwater disposal and drainage.

Key Dates for your Fundraising Diary

2019 GSK IMPACT Awards (Funding for Health Charities)

Rewards charities doing excellent work to improve people’s health. Organisations must be at least 3 years old, working in a health-related field in the UK, with income between £80,000 and £2.5 million. Up to 20 awards available from £3,000 to £40,000 plus free training valued at up to £6,000. Organisations will also have a film made, receive help with press and publicity and be given a set of promotional materials.

The Skinners' Company: The Lady Neville Charity

Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity

Marvellous Family Grants are for families facing financial hardship while caring for a child with a serious illness. They provide support to help families cope, from funding specialist equipment and creative therapies to hospital travel expenses.  (Need to be referred by a statutory health professional.)

St. Stephen’s Green Trust: Traveller Accommodation Grant programme (TAGP)

Grants for community and voluntary groups across Ireland which are registered charities for work which: stimulates and strengthens local activism, particularly among young Travellers; supports effective advocacy to improve practice; supports work (effective advocacy, knowledge or research) that leads directly to policy (including legislative) change.  Up to €5,000 for small pieces of research, learning and activism to €15,000 to €20,000 for work having a greater impact. Multiannual grants also available.
