The Marsh Christian Trust

Focuses on providing funding to help small organisations pay for various running costs, such as volunteer expenses, training days, equipment maintenance and other core outgoings. The nature of their funding is to support established charities and not to provide start-up costs.

Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust: Charities

Particular interests in education, international friendship and understanding, and the promotion of world peace and development.  Since 1979, more than £40 million has been distributed to a range of charities working in the UK and overseas.  Grants to charities will be on a matching funding basis only.

David Solomons Charitable Trust

Makes grants to UK registered charities organisations, with particular emphasis on those providing services or other benefits for those with learning difficulties.  Previous grants have been for up to £8,000 although the vast majority of awards are for £1,000 or less.

Aims to make it possible for artists and those presenting their work to undertake and complete projects when frustrated by lack of funds. Committed to helping artists and institutions that depart from the routine and signal new, distinct and imaginative sets of possibilities.  Grants usually limited to £2,000 but larger grants may be considered.

Ecclesiastical Insurance: Movement for Good Awards

An online nomination scheme designed to give £1million to charities.  The aim is to put their giving directly into the hands of remarkable organisations (like yours perhaps) that are changing people’s lives for the better.  500 charities will be awarded £1,000 and 10 charities will be awarded £50,000.

EU: PEACE 2014 - 2020

The EU Programme for Peace and Reconciliation is a unique Structural Funds programme aimed at reinforcing progress towards a peaceful and stable society in NI and the Border Region of Ireland.  2 funding calls currently still open are 4.2 'Building Community Cohesion through Social Enterprise (Pilot project) and 4.2 'Building PEACE through Emotional Resilience for Today and the Future'
