NICVA's 80th Anniversary GrantTracker Offer for Members

New or Updated Funding Initiatives

Ecclesiastical Insurance: “12 Days of Giving”

An online "nomination and draw" scheme from Ecclesiastical Insurance offering a £1,000 donation to 10 UK or Irish charities each weekday from 6th to 21st December, i.e. £120,000 to 120 charities in 12 days! The closing date and time for submitting an Application for each draw is 12.00 midnight the day before each draw.  Valid applications submitted after 12.00 midnight will be entered into the next available draw.

CRC Community Relations/Cultural Diversity Grant

£400,000 total annual funding iavailable to help community/voluntary groups throughout NI develop their capacity to engage in community relations work and to enhance the community relations potential of projects they undertake. Grants of up to £10,000 available, but most awards are between £2- £5k.

A B Charitable Trust (ABCT)

Supports charities that defend human rights and promote respect for vulnerable individuals.  Aims to support unpopular causes that champion human dignity, to be low-profile and to focus on small and medium-sized charities working close to the ground.

Kennel Club Charitable Trust

A dog charity that funds a wide variety of work ranging from supporting research into canine diseases, dog welfare organisations and the promotion of support dogs, all of which give dogs a healthier, happier life.

Key Dates for your Fundraising Diary

Department for Communities: Small Capital Grants Programme

Co-operation Ireland is delivering this capital fund to promote Partnership and Collaboration within the VCS sector.  Applications must include at least 2 organisations.  The amount of grant available varies from £1500 to £5000 depending on the number of partners applying.   All applicants must have an annual income of less than £100,000 per year.

Ironmongers Foundation

Supports projects that provide opportunities for disadvantaged children and young people to fulfil their potential.  Grants range from a few hundred pounds up to around £10,000. The average grant awarded is £4,000.

Ulverscroft Foundation

The Ulverscroft Foundation supports projects (both UK and overseas) which will have a positive effect on the quality of life of visually impaired people, or people with a print disability.  Applicants need not necessarily be a charity: they can be a CIC or social group.  Grants range from £100 to £500,000.

Energia Tyrone 3 Windfarms Community Benefit Fund

Administered by the Community Foundation for NI, grants of £500 - £5,000 available to local community projects that are planned and run for the benefit of the local population and are within 5 miles of the centre of the three windfarms at Altamuskin, Eshmore and Gortfinbar.  Click here to view boundary map.
