Charles Hayward Foundation

Provides both Main Grants (up to £25,000 a year for 1-3 years and Small Grants (up to £7000).  Main grants cover Social & Criminal Justice, Heritage & Conservation and Overseas work.  Small grants cover Social & Criminal Justice, Heritage & Conservation and Older People.  Registered charities only.

Mama Cash Fund for Women

Financially supports groups and organisations that through their work strengthen women's rights through both one to three year grants from €5,000 to €50,000. Open to supporting informal, unregistered groups of activists, or networks, or coalitions of organisations.

Skipton Building Society: Grassroots Giving

Skipton Building Society's Grassroots Giving programme provides support to small, local community groups in the UK where the donation would benefit vulnerable people e.g. homeless, elderly, deprived areas, etc

Key Dates for your Fundraising Diary

Acorn Fund Legacy Grants  

Grants of up to £3000 for projects or programmes in Derry/Londonderry which demonstrate a clear contribution to the legacy of the 2013 UK City of Culture by encouraging local people to engage in arts or cultural activities in their communities.

The Honourable The Irish Society: NI Small Grants Fund

This is a new Fund created in 2014 by The Honourable The Irish Society, an historic charity which operates mainly in County Londonderry, to make some charitable grants across the whole of Northern Ireland.

Co-operation with Northern Ireland

The Department of Arts, Heritage and the Gaeltacht is running a funding Scheme for projects which enhance, celebrate or commemorate the artistic, cultural, musical, film or heritage of the Island of Ireland on a North/South basis.  Applications are invited from not for profit bodies, organisations and institutions, with partnerships or collaborations also considered.
