OPENING TODAY - Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA): Rural Micro Capital Grant Scheme
Funded under the Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affair’s Tackling Rural Poverty and Social Isolation Programme, this programme offers micro Capital grants of between £200 and £1,500 to rural community-led, voluntary organisations for projects tackling issues of local poverty and / or social isolation.

Telecommunity Fund
Managed by the Community Foundation for NI, it prioritises work with young people, older people and people with disabilities and prefers organisations with an annual income of less than £200,000. Grants range from £500 to £2000.

Groundwork NI: TESCO Centenary Fund
Offers a first prize of £50,000, a second place prize of up to £30,000 and a third place prize of up to £20,000 for projects which provide a significant benefit to communities across NI. Groundwork is working in partnership with Tesco to deliver the Centenary Fund.

Polden-Puckham Charitable Foundation (PPCF)
Aims to contribute to the development of a just society based on a commitment to nonviolence and environmental sustainability. Grants of 5K to 15K per year, for up to 3 years for projects which address systemic threats by seeking to change policy and attitudes at a national or European level.

Help the Homeless
Grants (generally up to £5,000) for capital costs to small and medium-sized registered charities only (those with a turnover of under £1m per annum) for projects that assist individuals in their return to mainstream society, rather than simply offer shelter or other forms of sustenance.
