Queens University Belfast - RAG scheme

RAG (Raise and Give) is the fundraising wing of Queen's Students' Union.  NI charities who receive little government funding and operate solely in NI can apply to be one of the four local charities and one International Charity Partner which benefit from their annual fundraising.

BBC Children in Need: Main Grants

The Main Grants programme is open to charities and not-for-profit organisations applying for grants over 10K per year for up to 3 years for projects working with disadvantaged children and young people aged 18 and under.

The Honourable The Irish Society: Northern Ireland Small Grants Fund

Grants of up to £2,000 for capital items for small charities operating in NI.  Priority is given to those working with alcohol & substance misuse, older people, disability, disadvantaged young people or minority communities, homelessness, prisoners and ex-offenders and domestic and sexual violence.

UK Aid Direct: Community Partnerships Grants

Community Partnership grants are open to applications from small, UK registered, non-government organisations. Grants are available for up to £250,000 for projects of 3 years or less, for organisations with an average income of less than £1,000,000 per annum for the past 3 years.  The grants are designed to support initiatives that focus on delivering results on a small scale, pilot new or innovative approaches, focus on the most marginalised, and work at the community level.

Heritage Lottery Fund: Heritage Enterprise

Heritage Enterprise supports enterprising community organisations across the UK to rescue neglected historic buildings and sites and unlock their economic potential.  You can apply for a grant from £100,000 to £5million.
