John Moores Foundation

John Moores Foundation aims to enable people who are marginalised, as a result of social, educational, physical, economic, cultural, geographical or other disadvantage, to improve their social conditions and quality of life.  They fund projects based in Merseyside and Northern Ireland.

The Henry Smith Charity - Christian Projects Grants

The Henry Smith Christian Projects grant programme provides grants to support projects that explicitly promote the Christian faith in the UK.  Grants are usually 10,000+ per year.  Grants can be for up to 3 years but most are for 1-2 years.

Hedley Foundation

Funds small UK registered charities working with young people aged 11-25 in the areas of Recreation, Sport, Training, Health and Welfare, Support and outdoor Education.  A secondary aim is to assist small charities helping with disabled and terminally ill young people through funding for specialist equipment, organised respite breaks and holidays.  Average grant is £3000.

The Kelly Family Charitable Trust is interested in funding charities whose activities involve the whole family in initiatives that encourage and nurture a supportive structure within the family unit, and whose aims include the development of strong and supportive family bonds by helping all elements of the family unit to grow together and support each other.

Joan Trimble Bursary Awards

Bursaries of up to £1000 are available for individuals up to and including 25 years of age to support training, education and practical experience in the fields of the creative/performing arts and Irish culture.

The Marc Fitch Fund

The Marc Fitch Fund is an educational charity which makes small grants towards the costs of publishing scholarly work in the fields of British and Irish national, regional and local history, archaeology, antiquarian studies, historical geography, the history of art and architecture, heraldry, genealogy and surname studies, archival research, artefact conservation and the broad fields of the heritage, conservation and the historic environment.
