Social Justice Small Grants Programme

Aims to support local community groups with projects that contribute to peacebuilding, tackle the impact of poverty and austerity measures and/or give voice to excluded groups.  Up to £5K plus an additional £1k to £1.5k Mentor support.

Arts Council NI: Arts and Older People

Grants from £1,000 to £10,000  for arts-based projects that address related social issues such as poverty, isolation and loneliness, as well as promoting positive mental health.

Fields in Trust: Active Spaces

UK-wide programme to protect parks and green spaces and support community activation.  Each successful site will be offered delivery of a physical activity project on-site to the value of £5K to serve local needs and target identified groups of inactive people.

Offers development funding and strategic support to UK registered early-stage charities and social enterprises with an annual income under £1m. Up to £30K over 1-3 years and access to business expertise.

Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity

Marvellous Family Grants for families facing financial hardship while caring for a child with a serious illness.  NB Applications must be via a health or social care professional employed by a statutory organisation (NHS or local authority).

Groundwork NI: Alpha Programme

Small and Main grants from 3K up to £50K for projects making a positive impact at ground level, either developing facilities for community use or encouraging bio-diversity and environmental improvements using Landfill Tax Credits generated from the Mullaghglass Landfill site just outside Lisburn.
