The Gmac Foundation

Set up by US Masters' Winning Golfer Graeme McDowell, the Gmac Foundation's mission is to support children's medical research in NI, ROI and the USA. The cause of Multiple Sclerosis is also a priority area for the Foundation.  It also endeavours to take children on a holiday of a lifetime.

Architectural Heritage Fund (AHF): Project Viability & Project Development Grants

£5,000) to fund studies to look at potential uses for a building and at its current condition, and produce a Viability Report.  Applicants may then apply for a Project Development Grant (up to £25,000) to leverage further funding from elsewhere. They generally expect applicants to cover at least 50% of the cost of the work.

The Fore

The Fore is a partner of the Big Lottery Fund and the only open-access funder in the UK offering development funding and strategic support to early-stage charities, social enterprises and CICs.  They provide grants of up to £30,000 over one to three years and access to business expertise.

Beatrice Laing Trust

The Beatrice Laing Trust focus is on the relief of poverty and the advancement of the evangelical Christian faith, both at home and abroad.  They fund organisations working to help those in need, offering direct support to the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in society, including the homeless, the elderly, former Servicemen and women and ex-offenders.

Ironmongers Foundation

The Ironmongers’ Company supports projects that provide opportunities for disadvantaged children and young people to fulfil their potential.  Grants range from a few hundred pounds up to around £10,000. The average grant awarded is £4,000.

G&H Roberts Community Trust

The G & H Roberts Community Trust is a small family Trust, concentrating on initiatives working in education, environmental, peace and humanitarian fields. (This does not preclude consideration of individual need.) They retain a strong connection to UK based charities, but have also supported specific projects around the world.

PHA Small Grants: Emotional Wellbeing & Suicide Prevention ("Take 5")

This is a Public Health Agency (PHA) scheme for projects addressing the themes of Mental Health & Emotional Well-Being, Suicide Prevention and Self- Harm within the Western, Belfast, Southern & South Eastern Areas.  There are 2 types of awards:  up to £1000 for non-constituted and constituted non-profit taking groups and up to £5,000 for constituted, non-profit taking groups.
