NEW!!! Halifax Foundation for NI: Pitching for Pounds

The Halifax Foundation for NI supports underfunded, grassroots charities that enable people, especially disabled and disadvantaged people, to play a fuller role in society. Pitching for Pounds is a new grants programme offering £15,000 grants over 12 months for registered charities with an income of less than £1 million.

Raskob Foundation

The Raskob Foundation, is a Catholic Family Foundation in the USA that makes grants to projects associated with the Catholic Church both in the US and internationally.  They have a particular interest in projects in which self-help and local support are demonstrated. Grants tend to be for between $5000 and $15,000.

Clothworkers Foundation: Main Grants Programme

The Clothworkers Foundation is the independent charitable arm of The Clothworkers Company. The Foundation aims through its funding to improve the quality of life, particularly for people and communities facing disadvantage.  Applications are accepted all year and they fund one-off grants for the purchase of specific and pre-determined capital item(s

The Percy Bilton Charity

Supports charities assisting disadvantaged youth, people with disabilities, people with mental health problems and older people with grants towards furnishings and equipment (excluding office items), building or refurbishment projects.    The charity also supports individuals in financial need who have a disability or severe mental health problem, or who are over 65 on low income.   They provide small grants of £500 and large grants of up to £2000.

Key Dates for your Fundraising Diary

Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust

The Trust gives grants to UK registered charities towards projects carried out in the UK.   For 2017 their grant categories are Music and the Arts and the Elderly.  Grants are either £1000 or £5000 and are dependent on the applicant organisation’s annual operating income.

Greenhall Foundation

Music for All provides grants for both individuals and groups to enable more people to access musical instruments and lessons and music programmes for the community. Their typical Community Grant is in the region of £2500.
