New or Updated Funding Initiatives

G&H Roberts Community Trust

A very small Trust focusing on funding small community projects that support the advancement of education, community development, human rights, environmental protection, conflict resolution and reconciliation.  Distribute around £12000 p/a, with awards usually between £250 - £2,000.

Clanmil Community Fund

This Fund was set up to invest in initiatives that strengthen communities, aid individuals and increase wellbeing. It invests in activities that have a significant and positive social impact.  Funding of £100 to £1000 is available for voluntary and community organisations (including CICs).

Transform Foundation: Website Grant

An £18,000 grant to build an amazing web presence.  Each grant covers the upfront costs of a new charity-specific website including strategy, design, development and training.  Organisations will need to fund ongoing costs with a minimum 12-month commitment.

Rosa: Justice and Equality Fund – Changing the Conversation Programme

Set up to end the culture of harassment, abuse and impunity by resourcing an expert network of advice, support and advocacy organisations and projects.  Changing the Conversation is one of 3 new programmes with 250K available in year 1 to support expanded communications capacity in up to eight specialist organisations.

Volunteer Now: Men’s 50+ Grants

This funding scheme provide grants a small number of grants of up to £700 each to support the expansion of existing groups engaging men aged 50+ as well as establishing new men’s 50+ groups.

Hope for Youth NI

Hope for Youth NI provide grants of up to £5000 across NI for projects providing opportunities for young people aged 11-18 to come together from different cultural, ethnic or religious communities to work together on a creative, practical or outdoors project
