Trusthouse Charitable Foundation

Trusthouse provides around £2 million a year in grants to projects relating to rural issues and urban deprivation. Trusthouse is managed on a day-to-day basis by the Henry Smith Charity, although the two charities are entirely separate and you can apply to both funders at the same time.

In Kind Direct

In Kind Direct provides a huge range of products donated by companies to be used by UK not-for-profit organisations. The recipient organisation only pays a handling charge which is roughly 10-15% of the items value.  Companies donate surplus goods, mainly newly manufactured items. They might be ends of lines, seasonal items, samples, customer returns, things in damaged packaging or with slight defects.  Since 1996, they have redistributed hundreds of millions of pounds worth of goods.

Comic Relief: Levelling the Field UK

Levelling the Field, offers funding to organisations working in partnership in the UK, which use the power of sport to empower women and girls to reach their full potential.  It is a £1 million initiative funded by Comic Relief and the Treasury and applications are welcome for a minimum of £30,000 and a maximum of £250,000, over a period of between 12 and 36 months.

Feminist Review Trust

The Feminist Review Trust gives grants to projects in the UK and internationally that support women. The maximum value of any individual award is UK £15,000 (or its equivalent) although it is rare that this amount is awarded and partial funding only may also be offered.

UK Aid Match Fund

UK Aid Match is a demand-led fund that matches public donations to appeals for development activities focused on international development issues.  It allows the UK public to have a say in how an element of the aid budget is spent. It is called UK Aid Match because DFID will match, pound for pound, public donations to appeals made by not-for-profit organisations for work that is carried out in developing countries to reduce poverty.

Radcliffe Trust: Heritage & Crafts Grants

The Radcliffe Trust supports the development of the skills, knowledge and experience that underpin the UK’s traditional cultural heritage and crafts sectors. This includes support for craft and conservation training, for practical projects, particularly those that include a strong training element, and for strategic and capacity-building projects which demonstrate clear benefits to the sector.

Fermanagh & Omagh District Council: Community Premises Support Project

The Community Premises Support project, (funded by The Executive Office through the Social Investment Fund), enables community and voluntary groups located within the former Fermanagh, Omagh, Limavady and Strabane council districts. to apply for up to £20,000 to enhance their community buildings.  In total £709,316 is available.
