New or Updated Funding Initiatives

NEW!!! Garfield Weston Foundation: Weston Anniversary Fund

To celebrate its anniversary, a newly launched Weston Anniversary Fund will award capital only grants up to £150,000 to provide new or improve existing community facilities.  They will also consider funding the entirety of a project, or help to complete your fundraising, with grants ranging from £30,000 to £150,000.

Westhill

Westhill’s primary focus is on providing financial investment and other resources to support formal and informal religious education projects and faith-motivated activities that enable people to transform their lives and the life of their communities.  Since 2004 it  has invested more than £3.6 million in 400 projects, mainly in the UK but with some international impact as well.

The Finnis Scott Foundation

The Finnis Scott Foundation makes both capital and revenue grants with a focus on horticulture and plant sciences, as well as fine art and art history.  Trustees will only usually consider grants of between £500 and £10,000 with a preference for smaller charities where the grant would have a significant impact.

Foyle Foundation Small Grants

The Foundation makes one-year grants of between £1,000 and £10,000 for core costs, equipment or project funding to charities which can show that such a grant will make a significant difference to their work. Applicants need an annual turnover of less than £100,000.

Enkalon Community Fund

For its 30th Anniversary the Trustees have launched a one-off Community Fund to benefit the former Antrim Borough area.  The fund will enable groups and charities to develop projects which address the areas of need highlighted in the recently published Love Living Here Community Plan.  There are no set minimum or maximum amounts

Radcliffe Trust: Music Grants

Supports classical music performance and training especially chamber music, composition and music education. Particular interests within music education are music for children and adults with special needs, youth orchestras and projects at secondary and higher levels, including academic research. Grants are generally in the region of £1,000-£5,000.

Radcliffe Trust: Heritage & Crafts Grants

The Radcliffe Trust supports the development of the skills, knowledge and experience that underpin the UK’s traditional cultural heritage and crafts sectors. This includes support for craft and conservation training, for practical projects, particularly those with a strong training element, and for strategic and capacity-building projects..

Music for All

Music for All provides grants for both individuals and groups to enable more people to access musical instruments and lessons and music programmes for the community.  Their typical Community Grant is in the region of £2500.
