The Marchig Animal Welfare Trust: Grants & Awards

Aims to protect animals and to promote and encourage practical work in preventing animal cruelty and the relief of animal suffering through grants and awards to projects which are animal welfare orientated and of direct benefit to animals.

Souter Charitable Trust

Assists UK registered charities with projects engaged in the relief of human suffering in the UK and overseas – particularly, but not exclusively, those promoting spiritual welfare.  Small grants may also be awarded for gap year / short term projects which extend to at least one calendar year.

The Henry Smith Charity - Strengthening Communities

The Strengthening Communities grant programme provides grants between 20K to 60K for small charitable organisations working at grassroots level in the most disadvantaged areas of the UK, targeting places that are economically marginalised and affected by poverty.

Power NI: Brighter Communities Fund

Power NI’s brand new local funding initiative, Brighter Communities, makes £1000 available each month to NI community groups and individuals to help people implement innovative and creative projects which will change and improve their local community for the better.

Thomas Wall Trust

The Trust consider applications for grants of up to £1,000 for small registered charities, running specific projects that address the educational and social needs of their communities.  They can also provide small grants to assist individuals with the cost of training courses that improve their chances of employment.

Hilden Charitable Fund

The Fund has allocated a small budget to help community groups with an income under 150K to run summer play schemes for disadvantaged communities.  Some priority will be given to projects which show they are inclusive of children from refugee families, and show BME involvement.

Community Arts Partnership: Creative Engagement Project

Supports projects related to arts workshops, presentations, productions, new creations, artist-facilitators, and in some instances travel costs.  34 fully funded Community Engagement Places are available annually.   (NB This is not an application for funding but for artistic support.)
