Social Justice Small Grants to Community Development Fund
The Social Justice Small Grants Programme, funded by Atlantic Philanthropies, aims to support local community groups with projects and initiatives that contribute to peacebuilding, tackle the impact of poverty and austerity measures and/or give voice to excluded groups. For the first round of grant-making in 2017 the fund has up to 30K to award.

Rayne Foundation
Aim to connect communities, build bridges between marginalised groups and mainstream society, and to enable individuals to reach their full potential. Areas of special interest include arts as a tool to achieve social change, improved quality of life for carers and older people and young people's improved mental health. Average grant is £15,000 per annum or £30,000 total.

Big Lottery Fund: Empowering Young People
Empowering Young People funds projects that give young people in Northern Ireland aged 8-25 the ability to cope with challenges in their lives. Funding of between £100,000 to £600,000 is available for projects that last between three to five years.

NEWS - BBC Children in Need Small Grants is now open to charities and not-for-profit organisations applying for any amount up to and including £10,000 per year for up to 3 years. The scheme gives grants for disadvantaged children and young people of 18 years and under.

Money Saving Expert Charity
The MSE Charity provides grants to promote financial literacy through education or other activities. The majority of the revenue-only grants made are for activity costs although some grants fund salaries and running costs. Most grants given are under £5k.

The Lord's Taverners is the UK's leading youth cricket and disability sports charity dedicated to giving disadvantaged and disabled young people a sporting chance. Their sporting roots are within cricket, but they also have relationships with a wide range of other sports including rugby, tennis, squash, basketball and boccia.
