Public Health Authority/NIAMH/Comic Relief: Change Your Mind Small Grants Scheme

Change Your Mind is Northern Ireland’s regional campaign to tackle stigma and discrimination around mental health. The Small Grants Scheme is a joint programme run by Niamh (Northern Ireland Association for Mental Health) and Public Health Agency. it is funded by Comic Relief and works in partnership with a range of organisations and community networks across Northern Ireland.  The Small Grants scheme provides grants of either up to £1000 or from £1001-£5000 for projects which enable advocates to design and deliver their own campaigns, events and activities around the theme of positive mental health and stigma.

Hospital Saturday Fund

Set up in 1873, The Hospital Saturday Fund is a registered Charity whose aims are to provide assistance through its charitable funds for individuals with a medical condition or disability who would benefit from assistance with the purchase of specialised equipment or from practical forms of treatment and registered health charities such as hospitals, hospices, medical organisations who are in need of grants for medical projects, care, research or support of medical training within the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland.

UnLtd Grow It Award

The Grow It Award is for social entrepreneurs looking to scale their venture providing tailored support, access to workshops and networks, and up to £15,000 cash. This Award has replaced their Fast Growth and Build It Awards, combining experience of helping social entrepreneurs achieve scale.

PRSF: Lynsey de Paul Prize

The Lynsey de Paul Prize is a brand new opportunity for emerging female singer-songwriters, set up in collaboration with the PRS for Music Members Benevolent Fund, in memory of Lynsey de Paul, who sadly passed away in 2014. In line with Lynsey's commitment to supporting young women songwriters and musicians, £2000 plus mentoring will be available for the Prize winner, and £500 each for two runners up, to help them take the next step in their careers.

British Council: Connections Through Culture

Running for nearly a decade, Connections through Culture is a long-term programme to develop exciting cultural collaborations between artists and arts organisations, supporting long-lasting relationships between China and the UK.  The programme offers support, information, advice, networking opportunities and development grants to artists and arts organisations in China and the UK.

UnLtd Do It Awards

This Scheme provides awards of up to £5,000 to individuals with an idea that will create social impact and would like some help to get started.  UnLtd operates a unique model by investing directly in individuals and offering a complete package of resources; from funding, to on-going advice, networking and practical support. UnLtd supports individuals who have their ventures firmly rooted in delivering positive social change.

Heritage Lottery Fund: Heritage Enterprise

Heritage Enterprise supports enterprising community organisations across the UK to rescue neglected historic buildings and sites and unlock their economic potential.  You can apply for a grant from £100,000 to £5million.  With a Heritage Enterprise grant you can breathe new life into historic sites by repairing, adapting and giving them a productive new use. By funding much of the repair costs they hope to encourage private developers to work with community organisations to deliver commercially viable schemes.
