The Fore

The Fore is a partner of the Big Lottery Fund offering development funding and strategic support to UK-registered early-stage charities, social enterprises and CICs with an annual income under £1m. Unrestricted grants up to £30,000 for 1-3 years and access to business expertise.

Office for Civil Society: Tampon Tax Fund

Set up to allocate funds from VAT on sanitary products to projects of 1-2 years from UK charitable, benevolent and philanthropic organisations that improve the lives of disadvantaged women and girls.  Three categories: violence against women and girls, mental health and wellbeing, and a general programme.

Anchor Foundation

Supports Christian charities concerned with social inclusion, particularly through ministries of healing and the arts. Grants range from £500 to £10,000.  Will consider applications for projects abroad.

Tudor Trust

Particularly want to help smaller, community-led organisations which work directly with people at the margins of society. No maximum or minimum grant, though unusual for them to make a grant of less than £10,000. 1 to 3-year grants.

Under 25s in the Ards Borough who 'aspire to excellence' in one of three categories - sport, academic study or adventure training - can apply for a £500 Bursary to help them to achieve a goal or realise a particular project.

Funds initiatives that improve the access, quality and cost-effectiveness of healthcare. Also works to increase the availability, commitment and skills of healthcare providers.  Average grants are 1-2 years and $72,000.

Wolfson Foundation - Arts and Humanities
