Boost Charitable Trust

Boost Charitable Trust was created in 2005 to champion the disabled and disadvantaged and to inspire them to overcome their challenges through the power of sport. Since its inception, Boost has provided grants totalling over £1.25 million, mainly in the UK.

Alec Dickson Trust

The Alec Dickson Trust supports young people who through volunteering or community service, aim to enhance the lives of others, particularly those most marginalised by society.  They provide grants of up to £500 to individuals or groups of young people aged 30 or under, to help them put their ideas into action and run projects that benefit the lives of others.

Royal British Region: External Grants

The Royal British Legion's External Grants programme funds organisations running, or planning, charitable activities in support of the Armed Forces community.  Priorities are for projects in Employment and training, Family support, Homelessness and outreach and Supporting the elderly.  Up to 50K although smaller applications are encouraged.

Jerwood Charitable Foundation

The Jerwood Charitable Foundation (JCF) is dedicated to imaginative and responsible funding of the arts across the UK, with a particular focus on supporting emerging talent and excellence. JCF aim for funding to allow artists and arts organisations to thrive; to continue to develop their skills, imagination and creativity with integrity.

Key Dates for your Fundraising Diary

Golsoncott Foundation

The Foundation's aim is to promote the arts generally and in particular the fine arts and music - the key criterion is excellence. Projects involving young people should offer a long-lasting connection between them and the art-form and a significant level of participation and achievement at a high standard.  Their annual spend on grants is under £80,000.

Eaga Charitable Trust (Eaga CT) is an independent grant-giving trust that supports work that contributes to understanding and addressing the causes and effects of fuel poverty, including health impacts.

Radcliffe Trust: Heritage & Crafts Grants

The Radcliffe Trust supports the development of the skills, knowledge and experience that underpin the UK’s traditional cultural heritage and crafts sectors. This includes support for craft and conservation training, for practical projects, particularly those that include a strong training element, and for strategic and capacity-building projects which demonstrate clear benefits to the sector.
