Co-Ownership Housing

Newly launched Social Fund with a total budget of £12,000 to support a project/projects which make a positive social impact in the lives of individuals, local neighbourhoods, or communities.  Revitalising neighbourhoods, supporting elderly or disabled people or providing advice/education to improve financial capability or inclusion, energy efficiency or biodiversity.

Wakeham Trust

An extremely small charitable grant-making trust which is particularly interested in funding neighbourhood projects, community arts projects, projects involving community service by young people, or projects set up by those who are socially excluded.

Family Fund

The Family Fund gives grants to lower income families with disabled children for things that make life easier and more enjoyable. Grants are given to those raising a disabled or seriously ill child aged 17 or under, to help improve well-being and ease the pressures they often face.

Lloyds Banking Group: Credit Union Development Fund

A £4m fund to strengthen the financial position of credit unions and give them the capacity to develop new strategies for sustained and effective growth.  All credit unions authorised to operate in the UK can apply for Seeding Awards of up to 20K or Large Awards up to 100K.

National Vegetarian Week

As part of National Vegetarian Week (15th-21st May 2017) , small grants of up to £200 are available and larger grants of up to £2000 to help fund community activities and events run by anyone from Informal groups of friends, parents or students to vegetarian and vegan societies to community groups, schools, social housing schemes, youth clubs, Cubs, Brownies, Scouts or Guides.

Sport & Recreation Alliance: Community Sport and Recreation Awards

The Sport and Recreation Alliance is the umbrella body for sport and recreation in the UK.  The Community Sport and Recreation Awards are looking for those clubs, organisations and initiatives who are doing truly great work in their local communities.  Entry is free and simple and each category winner will receive £1,000 to help boost their work.

Comic Relief: Community Mental Health Matters

The Community Mental Health Matters initiative offers funding for existing and emerging mental health activities in Malawi, Sierra Leone, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.  They expect to make six grants with £1.8 million total funding available through this initiative. Funding requests are welcome up to the value of £300,000 each.

Patagonia Environmental Grants

Patagonia are a business providing environmental grants to thousands of community-based groups working to create positive change for the planet in their own backyards.  They aim to give modest grants of up to $12,000 to hundreds of groups every year for whom this money makes a world of difference.
