The Theatres Trust: Theatres Protection Fund - Small Grants Scheme

The UK Small Grants Scheme targets theatres across the UK run by charities and not-for-profit groups that are in need and at risk. The scheme awards capital grants of up to £5000 to support small theatre building projects which address urgent building repairs, improve operational viability, introduce environmental improvements, and which enhance physical accessibility.

Heritage Lottery Fund: Resilient Heritage

The Resilient Heritage programme offers organisations grants from £3000 up to £250,000 to undertake tailored activity to help UK organisations iwho want to build their capacity or achieve strategic change to improve the management of heritage.  Grants can fund activities to help organisations acquire new skills or knowledge, or develop new models of governance, leadership and business to put them in a better position for the future. Organisations in the early stages of planning their activities may also apply.

Nominet Trust: Digital Arts & Creative Ageing

Digital Arts & Creative Ageing is a collaborative grant funding programme developed by Nominet Trust and The Baring Foundation.  Digital Arts & Creative Ageing provides funding and support to enable entrepreneurial organisations to demonstrate the potential of digital technologies to bring scale to service provision focused on extending access to the creative arts for those aged 65 and over.  Applicants should be able to provide early evidence of user value already delivered and explain how funding will be used to take their existing product or service to the next stage of development.

GC Gibson Charitable Trust Grants

The GC Gibson Charitable trust supporta a wide range of mainly small and medium sized charities operating in the UK, with funding often provided for many years and with no restrictions on expenditure. Priority for support is given to charities that the trustees have previously worked with. However, the trust adds few new charities each year.

Northern Ireland Housing Executive: Social Housing Enterprise Investment Scheme

The Social Housing Enterprise Investment Scheme aims to make social investment awards that will deliver social economy/ social enterprise initiatives that create outcomes which deliver social value to NIHE housing communities.  Awards range from up to £10,000 to over £50,000.

Northern Ireland Screen: Creative Animation Scheme

This scheme is designed to develop NI resident junior creators/animators to combat the fact that the process of developing character based animation projects is lengthy and expensive limiting the opportunity for junior level creators/animators to develop their ideas. NI Screen’s cash contribution will be a maximum of £30,000, with the production company expected to contribute 25% of the overall budget. (This can be an in kind contribution or third party finance.)
