Jean Sainsbury Animal Welfare Trust

The Trust's aims are to benefit or protect animals, relieve animals from suffering, conserve wild life and encourage the understanding of animals.  Since being set up in 1982, the Trust has given over £8.4 million to animal welfare charities.

Woodward Charitable Trust: General Grants

The Trustees favour small-scale, locally based initiatives. Funding is primarily for one-off projects, but the Trustees are willing to consider funding running costs (including core cost and salaries).

Heritage Lottery Fund: Our Heritage

The Our Heritage is rolling grant programme for any type of project related to national, regional or local heritage in the UK. You can apply for a grant of more than £10,000 and up to £100,000.

Westhill

Westhill support formal and informal religious education projects and faith-motivated activities that enable people to transform their lives and their communities.  Since 2004 Westhill has invested over £3.6 million in 400 projects, mainly in the UK but with some international impact as well.

Santander Community Solutions 2016

This fund is a partnership between the Santander Foundation and the Community Foundations to support projects that increase knowledge, skills and innovation that help disadvantaged people improve confidence.  Roughly 12 grants are available for the set amount of £5000.

Aviva Community Fund

The Aviva Community Fund offers from up to £1000 up to £25,000 for inspirational local causes. The scheme aims to help both large charities and smaller ones who may otherwise find it difficult to gain financial backing or recognition. PetPlan Charitable Trust

PetPlan Charitable Trust provides welfare grants and scientific grants for animal welfare particularly for dogs, cats, horses and rabbits.  To date they have distributed almost £8,000,000 in grants.
