Executive Office: Minority Ethnic Development Fund (MEDF)
This fund assists minority ethnic and local community organisations to promote good relations between people of different ethnic backgrounds. There are 3 tiers of funding ranging from £100 - £75,000. Funding seminars are also available for potential applicants on 15th, 16th and 17th February.

BBC Children in Need Main Grants
BBC Children in Need Main Grants programme is open to charities and not-for-profit organisations applying for grants over £10,000 per year for up to three years. The scheme gives grants for disadvantaged children and young people of 18 years and under.

Heritage Lottery Fund: Sharing Heritage
This is the Heritage Lottery Fund’s smallest grant programme, and is suitable for groups who have never applied to them before, as well as more experienced organisations. From recording personal memories to conserving wildlife, a Sharing Heritage grant can help organisations discover and share their local heritage. Grants are from £3,000 to £10,000.

Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust
The Austin and Hope Trust funds registered charities, with projects in 2017 focusing on Music and the Arts and the Elderly. Grants range from £1000 - £5000. Within these themes priority is given to projects focussing on homelessness, domestic abuse, prisoners/offenders, training and education, counselling and support and activities for those who have limited access or opportunities

Ulster Bank: Skills & Opportunities Fund
The Fund provides grants of up to £35,000 for charities, social enterprises, community groups, state-funded schools and colleges based in Ireland and NI helping people in disadvantaged communities develop, create or access the skills and opportunities they need to help themselves; skills that will increase their financial capability, or enable them to get into work or start a business, now or in the future.

D'Oyly Carte Charitable Trust
The D’Oyly Carte Charitable Trust funds UK registered charities in the fields of the advancement of the arts, health and medical welfare and environmental protection or improvement. At present, the Trust makes grants which are usually in the range £500 - £5,000 with most being for one-year.

National Churches Trust
The Trust supports buildings of all Christian denominations – the grants programme is however only open to buildings used by denominations that are members of Churches Together in Britain and Ireland. They are able to fund urgent repair works, and new facilities that enable the building to be more widely used by the community, such as kitchens and toilets.
