New or Updated Funding Initiatives

Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable Trust: Charities

Primarily funds projects by UK registered charities which support education, international friendship and understanding, and the promotion of world peace and development.  Match funding is required. Grants made to charities vary both in size and amount but probably total between £5 million and £6 million annually.

The Honourable The Irish Society: Northern Ireland Small Grants Fund

The Fund seeks to help small charitable organisations operating in Northern Ireland with grants of up to £2,000 for capital items.

NOW REOPENED - DOJ: Assets Recovery Community Scheme (ARCS)

Managed by the Department of Justice Protection and Organised Crime Division (POCD), the ARCS grant scheme provides start-up funding to projects that will be ongoing, or one-off funding to time-limited projects which prevent crime or reduce the fear of crime.

GSK Impact Awards

The IMPACT awards provide cash prizes, access to peer support and assistance with publicity for registered charities that are at least three years old, working in a health-related field in the UK, with a total annual income between £80,000 and £2.5 million.

Money Saving Expert Charity

Grants to not for profits that deliver activities which make a lasting impact on how people think, behave and manage their money. Their Building and Developing Resilience grants are for projects focussed on mental health, well-being, cook well for less, training others, independent living skills, peer mentoring. Majority of grants under 5K.

Rosa: Justice and Equality Fund (Now’s The Time)

One of 3 funding themes, the Now’s the Time funding theme provides grants ot 5K to 25K for individual organisations or 25K to 100K for partnership bids over 1-3 years to support work to bring an end to the culture of harassment, abuse and impunity.
