A small trust making annual distributions of £300,000 in small grants to a wide range of UK Registered Charities.  Mainly support Medical research, Care of the elderly, General welfare, Hospices, The Deaf and Blind, Care of the physically & mentally disabled and the Armed Forces.

The United States Embassy London: Small Grants Programme

The U.S. Embassy London offers grants within the $1,000 – $15,000 range in the following areas: Countering violent extremism and counter-terrorism, Youth leadership with an emphasis on strengthening U.S.-UK collaboration and programs to advance the Special Relationship.

Culture Ireland Regular Grants

Culture Ireland offers support to Irish professional artists, arts organisations and international presenters to present work by Irish artists at significant international venues and festivals.   Funds direct costs, i.e. travel and travel related costs such as transport, accommodation and subsistence.

Gilchrist Educational Trust: Grants to Organisations

As well as providing grants to Individualsgrants for expeditions, and a biennial fieldwork award, The Trust funds UK or overseas projects likely to fill educational gaps, or make more widely available a particular aspect of education or learning. Usual grant range £500 to £4,000.

The Hinrichsen Foundation

Provides support for the performance of contemporary music, which may include commissioning of new work, non-commercial recording or even publication.   Will also occasionally provide funds for research projects not being conducted under the aegis of an academic institution.

Ulster Bank: Skills & Opportunities Fund

Provides grants of up to £35,000 for charities, social enterprises, community groups, state-funded schools and colleges based in NI helping people in disadvantaged communities develop, create or access skills and opportunities to build their financial capability skills or to start or develop a new business now or in the future.
