Woodward Charitable Trust: Playschemes

One of the Sainsbury Family Charitable Trusts. Each year the Woodward Charitable Trust fund summer playschemes for children between the ages of 5-16 years. Most grants awarded are in the range of £500 to £1,000. Around 35 grants are made each year.

Vodafone UK Foundation

Connecting for Good is about combining Vodafone's charitable giving and technology to make a difference in the world. Globally, the Vodafone Foundation supports projects that are focused on delivering public benefit through the use of mobile technology across the areas of health, education and disaster relief.

The Percy Bilton Charity

Supports UK Charities assisting disadvantaged youth, people with disabilities, people with mental health problems and older people may apply for grants towards furnishings and equipment (excluding office items), building or refurbishment projects.  (NB the charity also supports individuals in financial need who have a disability or severe mental health problem, or who are over 65 on low income.)

The Social Justice Small Grants Programme, funded by Atlantic Philanthropies, aims to support local community groups with projects and initiatives that contribute to peacebuilding, tackle the impact of poverty and austerity measures and/or give voice to excluded groups.

BMA Giving: Charitable Purposes Subcommittee

BMA Giving is a committee of BMA members who meet annually to determine the grants which are made by the BMA to healthcare charities for projects that create lasting benefits to patient care, the medical profession or medical/health research.  Grants are up to £50,000 although smaller grants will also be considered.

Executive Office: Minority Ethnic Development Fund (MEDF)

Pprovides support for voluntary and community organisations working with minority ethnic people and groups.  The aim of the Fund is to assist minority ethnic and local community organisations to promote good relations between people of different ethnic backgrounds.  There are 3 tiers of funding offering from £100 to £75000.
