NEW Comic Relief: Global Health Matters
Managed by the Community Foundation NI, this programme provides grants of up to £5000 to enable people with mental health problems to be able to access the support they need to recover and to be empowered to speak out and to live free from stigma and discrimination.

Allen Lane Foundation
Funds small registered charities, voluntary groups, and charitable organisations across the UK. They are interested in funding charitable causes which they believe to be unpopular both in society, and with other funders. Over a typical year, they make around 150 grants, to a total value of between £750,000 and £800,000.

The Magdalen Hospital Trust
Grants to promote the welfare of young people under 25, who suffer from various effects of social deprivation, abuse, mental and physical handicap, inadequate housing, lack of education or training, and the problems derived from unemployment and broken families. Grants are normally within the range £500-£2,000 and are usually one-off and project-based.

The Froebel Trust offers Innovation Grants to enable the application of Froebelian principles in new areas and environments in order to support children to play expressively and creatively. The Trust has allocated a fund of £40,000 in 2019 for Innovation Grants. Projects may be spread over 1 or 2 years.

Music for All provides grants for both individuals and groups to enable more people to access musical instruments and lessons and music programmes for the community. Please be aware their typical Community Grant is in the region of £2500.

National Churches Trust: Cornerstone Grants
The Cornerstone Grant Programme offers grants of between £10,000 and £50,000 towards the cost of urgent structural repair projects costed at more than £100,000 including VAT. The Trust will also consider projects that introduce kitchens and accessible toilets to enable increased community use, costed at more than £30,000 including VAT.
