Global Fund for Women

The Global Fund for Women strengthens women's right groups based outside the United States by providing small, flexible, and timely grants ranging from $500 to $20,000 for operating and programme expenses.

Energy For Children Charity

The Energy for Children Charitable Trust funds organisations that make a difference to disadvantaged children’s lives throughout Greater Belfast and beyond.  The Trust focuses on those needy causes that are slipping through the net of the more established Charity network, and to date has helped over 6000 local disadvantaged children.

Church of Ireland Priorities Fund

The objective of the Priorities Fund is to raise and distribute money, on behalf of the Church of Ireland, to various worthy projects within the island of Ireland.  Key areas funded include Training (Lay and Ordained), Christian Education, Outreach Initiatives and Innovative Ministry in a Rural Context.

Comic Relief: Communities and Sport for Change

This scheme aims to fund projects which use sport as a catalyst for change, helping people to take ownership and feel part of increasingly inclusive and cohesive communities and also feel empowered to identify and solve the social issues affecting their communities. Grants of between £40,000 and £75,000 for up to two years of activity are available.

Nuffield Foundation Programme Grants

The Nuffield Foundation's aim is to bring about improvements in society through research and practical experiment. The wide range of activities supported by the Foundation fall includes access to justice; child protection and family justice; education and social science.

Edge Fund

They support work run by and for communities facing discrimination and injustice and work that aims to create systemic change. They fund work carried out by individuals and small grassroots groups in Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England that find it difficult to get funding elsewhere. They look for work that creates change in society, rather than traditional support and services work.  Edge Fund is a very small fund, with the maximum grant you can apply for £3,000 for groups and £1,000 for individuals.
