Funding news this week

Community Relations Council - Publications Grant Scheme

This programme aims to encourage the production and dissemination of publications that will contribute to greater understanding and better community relations in Northern Ireland. Maximum award £5,000.

Leathersellers Company Charitable Fund: Small Grants Programme now open

This Programme is a fast-track grant assessment for one-off grants of up to £3,000. Applicants can expect a result within six weeks of making an application. Their small grants programme will now only consider applications from UK registered charities (this includes Charitable Incorporated Organisations (CIO) but not Community Interest Companies (CIC).

Children’s Community Support Programme

Little Lives UK wants to guarantee that children’s services and activities are in a position to avoid long-term negative effects due to the pandemic. The Children’s Community Support Programme offers organisations that work with children, who are in need of support during these challenging times financial support of up to £1,5000Deadline is 30th November 2021.

The 7 stars Foundation: Shine Bright & Project Grants opening soon

The Shine Bright Grants are awarded to the regional charity partners to purchase educational and art materials; toys; books; and emotional support items for young people aged 16 and under who have been challenged by abuse; addiction; homelessness; or those who are child carers. Project grants award up to £2,500 to support young people aged 16 years and under responding to abuse, addiction, homelessness and child carers.

The Strategic Legal Fund for Vulnerable Young Migrants

The Strategic Legal Fund for Vulnerable Young Migrants (SLF) funds strategic legal work in any area of law where migrant groups experience disadvantage or discrimination as a result of migration status. Fund is open to Not-for-profits and solicitor firms. Maximum funding will be £30,000 where the average grant is £12,000.

 Enkalon Foundation

The Foundation is a Northern Ireland funder with priorities focusing on education, health and of saving lives, citizenship or community development, arts, culture, heritage or science, amateur sport, relief of those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage, and animal welfare.

Next deadline is 10th November 2021.

CRC Community Relations Council Core Funding

The Community Relations Council's Core Funding grant scheme contributes towards the salary and organisational running costs of a number of organisations which are considered of strategic importance in promoting community relations or cultural diversity work in Northern Ireland. 

Closes 4pm on 12th November 2021.

Ards & North Down Borough Council: Tourism Events Grants

The Tourism Event Grants Scheme is open to eligible events that will enhance the Ards and North Down Borough and attract visitors to the area. The grant available through the Scheme, to successful applicants/events, is between £500 and £10,000.

Closes 12pm(noon) on 12th November 2021.

Ansvar Donation Programme

Ansvar takes an active approach to supporting charities that attempt to prevent drug and alcohol abuse helping to safeguard communities. They will support successful charities for a 3-year period; each charity receives £15,000 a year for 3 years, totalling £45,000 each. 

Closes 12th November 2021.
