Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs: Northern Ireland Regional Food Programme

The aim of the programme is to raise the profile of quality regional food and increase its consumption within NI, RoI and GB. The programme encourages all sectors of the agri-food industry to work together and will provide financial assistance for eligible additional activities. It is not designed to substitute existing activities already funded by applicants. Deadline is 12pm(noon) on 22 February 2022.

Space to Dream Fund

The Space to Dream Fund from Freelands Foundation offers grants of between £35,000 and £95,000 over two to three years are available to single organisation applicants. They are also accepting applications of up to £150,000 by groups of organisations as a consortium of two or more members.  Applicable to enable Black-led (African, Caribbean and Asian heritage) organisations across the UK to imagine and deliver bold and impactful visual arts projects. Expression of interest deadline 23:59 on 4 March 2022. Register for the information webinar Thursday 17 February 2022 at 15:00. The sessions will be recorded and can be shared if you are unable to attend.

Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust

The Austin and Hope Trust gives grants to UK registered charities working with communities. For 2022 they have decided to focus on The Arts for all grants. Grant Rounds 1 and 2: The Arts: People in the early stages of their career. They are specifically focusing on performers and creatives. Round 1 deadline 28th February; Amount - £1,000. Round 2 deadline 30th April; Amount - £5,000.

Rees Jeffreys Road Fund

The Fund supports research, education and roadside improvement projects that promote advances in UK transport policy, design, management and practice through a financial grant. There is no upper or lower limit for grant applications although grants most commonly fall in the range £5,000 -£25,000. 

Baily Thomas Charitable Fund

Baily Thomas funds projects to aid research into learning disability and to aid the care and relief of those affected by learning disability by making grants to voluntary organisations working in this field. Grants range from £250 to high thousands.

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council: Community Festivals Fund

Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council invites applications from community and voluntary organisations to the Community Festivals Fund.

Deadline 12pm(noon) on 11 February 2022.

Wallace & Gromit’s Children’s Charity

They support projects in children’s hospitals and hospices throughout the UK to enrich and enhance the lives of patients. Actively seek projects addressing Arts, music, play and leisure programmes, Facilities to support families of children treated in hospitals or hospices, Welcoming and accessible environments, Care and facilities in hospices, Promoting education and information programmes, Supporting children with physical and emotional difficulties, and Medical equipment (when it can be show that funding is not available from statutory sources.

Deadline 11 February 2022.

Sea-Changers: Coastal Fountain Fund

The purpose of the fund is to reduce the impact of single-use plastic water bottles on coastal habitats by funding communities to purchase water drinking fountains and install them for use by the public in busy or environmentally important areas.  Grants of up to £2,000 are available, per applicant, towards the cost of a fountain.

Deadline 13 February 2022.

Skipton Building Society Charitable Foundation

The Charitable Foundation supports registered charities based in the UK where there is clear benefit to the recipients. Donations of up to £3,000 will be considered, that enable specific tangible items or activities to be purchased rather than donating to general funds. Priorities:  To benefit children (aged under 16), through their education and or welfare i.e. literacy, numeracy and reducing poverty; To provide youth schemes and projects supporting those in their late teens / early 20s in socially deprived areas with literacy, numeracy and employment, and To support the elderly by reducing isolation, helping reduce the effects of dementia and Alzheimer’s.

Deadline 15 February 2022.

Weston Communicating Climate Programme

UK charities can apply to receive expert-led training, networking opportunities and one-to-one sessions with media professionals to improve their climate communication. The Media Trust’s Weston Communicating Climate Programme supports environmental charities to extend the reach, power and impact of their messaging and better engage with audiences on climate issues. Funding is being provided by the Garfield Weston Foundation, a grant-making trust with a record of support for environmental charities.

Deadline 5pm on 15 February 2022.
