Joseph Rowntree Charitable Trust (JRCT) is launching a £1 million pilot

The fund aims to support grassroots social movements whose work is vital to systemic change in our society. It is expected to open to applications later this year, aims to provide funding, infrastructure and access to resources and networks to support the sustainability of movement work. LEAP: Loans for Enlightened Agriculture Programme

Real Farming Trust understand the challenges that agroecological food and farming enterprises face in raising finance, whether that is waiting for a grant to come through or having the funds to grow and develop when you have no assets to secure against. They offer Unsecured loans for a 5-year term for amounts of between £20,000 and £100,000 that can be used for capital or revenue costs. Priority given to Community Interest Companies, Community Benefit Societies, Cooperative Societies, and Charitable Incorporated Organisations.

Tech Lending Community Fund

In partnership with Virgin Media O2, Hubbub is launching a £400,000 fund to make tablets and free data available to community organisations across the UK. The fund is exclusively supporting organisations such as local authorities, charities and social enterprises who work closely with temporary accommodation services, such as centres for refugees, housing for those at risk of homelessness or women’s refuges. Apply by 23:59 on 1st March 2022.

Rothschild Foundation Hanadiv Europe

They fund a broad range of organisations and individuals working in the field of Jewish heritage, culture and education. They support Conservation and Preservation, Inventories and Cataloguing, Digital Resource Creation and Digital Humanities, Professional Training, and Language Grants. Additionally, they also support digitisation of material to make these collections accessible to people around the world.

UK Ashden Awards

The Ashden Awards accelerate climate innovation, helping businesses, charities, governments and others power up their impact in the UK and low-income nations. They back organisations that advance social justice while lowering emissions.  Winners and finalists enjoy grants of up to £25,000, publicity and priceless new connections – as well as endorsement from globally-recognised climate experts.

Upcoming deadlines

Aviva Community Fund

Funding is available for fresh ideas looking to secure up to £50,000. Every three months, £250,000 will be shared equally among their UK employees to donate to the forward thinking projects that matter to them most. Each charity can apply for funding of up to a maximum of £50,000 and Aviva employees will decide how the funding is distributed.  Eligible causes will be able to submit their projects to the Aviva Community Fund through Crowdfunder. Funding applications are open to projects looking to raise up to £50,000.

Application deadline 1st February 2022.

Tesco Little Helps Awards

Tesco is banishing Blue Monday, traditionally known as the most depressing day of the year, by launching a campaign to give 60 charities and community projects a boost. Over the next three weeks, they are calling for applications from groups across the UK that could benefit from a £5000 grant to help them to make a difference in their communities.

Deadline midnight on 6th February 2022.

Screwfix Foundation funding rounds 2022

The Screwfix Foundation has announced the dates for their 2022 funding rounds. The Foundation raise funds throughout the year to support causes that will change people's lives. They work with both national and local charities, donating much needed funds to help all sorts of projects, from repairing building and improving facilities in deprived areas, to decorating the homes of people living with sickness and disabilities.  

Next deadlines are the 10th of February 2022.
