Ards and North Down Sports Forum Grant Programme: Events Grant
The aim of the Grant Programme is to promote and encourage life-long involvement in sport and to create, nurture and develop the sporting community within the Ards and North Down Borough. The Council has set aside £30,000 for 2021/22 financial year with funding available for the following categories: Anniversary, Coaching, Equipment, Events , GoldCard, Seeding, and Travel/Accommodation.
Causeway Coast and Glens District Council: Sustainable Food & Essential Supplies Grant Programme
This grant programme provides financial assistance to community and voluntary organisations operating in Causeway Coast and Glens to undertake projects that will help reduce the cost of and improve access to food and other essential supplies and to promote and develop activities and programmes that develop good food practices and sustainable ways to reduce food waste in the Borough.
Department of Agriculture, Environment and Rural Affairs (DAERA): Rural Micro Capital Grant Scheme
This Scheme, funded under the Department’s Tackling Rural Poverty and Social Isolation (TRPSI) Programme, offers Micro Capital grants of between £200 and £1,500 to rural community-led, voluntary organisations for projects tackling issues of local poverty and / or social isolation and to assist the recovery and reset of rural communities following the Covid-19 pandemic. Opens for applications 1st October 2021.
New €5million fund from Community Finance Ireland: All-Island Sports Fund
The new fund will make flexible loans of €10,000-€500,000 available to sports organisations seeking to make a change in their local community whether that is to renovate changing or training facilities for their players and participants, or to improve local infrastructure that makes their club grounds more accessible for the local community.
National Emergencies Trust Local Action Fund
This match fund of up to £10,000 per project has been launched by the National Emergencies Trust as part of its Coronavirus Appeal. It offers support to voluntary and community organisations in the UK by helping them to counter financial challenges created by the pandemic, including the inability to fundraise in the usual ways, reductions in staff and volunteers, and increased demand on their services.

The Small Woodland Grant Scheme is specifically for new native woodland planting of 0.20 hectares and larger.

Black & Minoritised Women's Fund
These grants are to help Black and minoritised women’s organisations, led-by-and-for women, which have been impacted by the Coronavirus pandemic, to support women and girls, dealing with the impact of COVID-19.
Application deadline is 3pm on 1st October 2021
Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council: Festive Fund
Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council has developed the Christmas Festive Fund to support Community Associations from the smaller towns, villages and hamlets to help celebrate Christmas.
Application deadline 12pm (noon) on 1st October 2021
Culture Ireland: Regular Grants
Culture Ireland operates a range of funding programmes to support and promote the presentation of Irish arts internationally.
