The UK government has launched a new £150 million Community Ownership Fund to help ensure that communities across the UK can support and continue benefiting from the local facilities, community assets and amenities most important to them. Free information sessions are being held:

Co-op Community Fridge Fund for 100 new Community Fridges
With funding from the Co-op to support 100 new Community Fridges in 2021, constituted community organisations, CICs, and registered charities can apply to receive £4,000 and set up support to re-distribute surplus food.
Ecclesiastical Insurance: Movement for Good Awards
The Movement for Good awards is an online nomination scheme programme designed to give £1 million to charities. 30 charities will be awarded £10,000. Two winners will also receive £50,000 and one winner will receive an additional £100,000.
McCarthy Stone Foundation: Small Grants Programme
Launched in November 2020, the Foundation offers support to charities for community projects that focus on the health and wellbeing of older people, intergenerational projects and regeneration of the local community. Grants are generally for amounts up to £5,000.
The Fore Autumn 2021 Funding Round
The Fore offers unrestricted ‘charity-led’ funding of up to £30,000, which can be spread over up to 3 years to any registered charity, CIC, CIO or Community Benefit Society with turnover of under £500,000 in the last financial year. Registration for Autumn Round opens 10am 26 July 2021 and closes 5pm 6 September 2021.
Upcoming deadlines
The Shoosmiths Foundation offers grants of £5,000 to £50,000 to UK registered charities working to improve social mobility in the legal sector, access to justice and advancing carbon net zero UK.

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council: Community Capital Minor Grant
Newry, Mourne and Down District Council provide contributions of up to 75% of the costs to support and maintain the capital infrastructure of a community facility.
Closing date: 12pm (noon) 23 July 2021
Housing and Homelessness Innovation & Voice Fund – funding aims to support new or improved solutions to some of the root causes of housing issues and homelessness.
Closing Date: 1pm on 23 July 2021
The Wesleyan Foundation: Large Grants Programme – funding focuses on education, health, and social priorities.
Closing date: 1pm on 26 July 2021
Social Justice Small Grants Programme - welcomes applications for projects which focus on digital justice, environmental justice and feminism
Closing Date: 1pm on 26 July 2021
