Arts Council NI: Health & Safety Capital Grant

The Arts Council of Northern Ireland has opened applications, on behalf of Department for Communities (DFC), to the Health and Safety Capital Programme. The programme, worth £750,000, aims to support organisations to reopen their creative spaces safely. Applications will close at 12noon on Friday 5th November 2021

Belfast Harbour Community Awards

The Belfast Harbour Community Awards Fund provides grants of up to £2,500 to grassroots communities and charities that help transform our community and help local people thrive. Three categories for nominations: Supporting Employability and Skills, Supporting our Environment, and Supporting Communities. Nominations close 12th November 2021.

CRC Community Relations Council Core Funding

The Community Relations Council's Core Funding grant scheme contributes towards the salary and organisational running costs of a number of organisations which are considered of strategic importance in promoting community relations or cultural diversity work in Northern Ireland. Deadline 4pm 12th November 2021.

Collaboration for Change (CfC): Join the Dots Participatory Budget

Collaboration for Change, a collective of organisations and individual activists, aim to create open spaces for shared learning, peer support, practical hope and wise collaboration.  Complete your video pitch by 12th November before voting opens on 24th November 2021 to win €500.

British Council: International Collaboration Grants

The International Collaboration Grants is a £3.5m programme of grants available to support UK and overseas organisations to collaborate internationally. Designed to support artists to make and develop creative artwork with their international peers, and to encourage new international partnerships and innovative ways of collaborating awards are small grants of £5-20k and large grants of £20-75k.  

Better Community Business Network Grants

BCBN’s Grants aim to provide small third-sector grant awards to empower charities and local community projects. This initiative will distribute a one-off grant award of up to £3,000 per charity or to small but credible community projects, which are able to demonstrate their positive impact on the communities they aim to serve. 

Upcoming deadlines

National Emergencies Trust Local Action Fund

This match fund of up to £10,000 per project, launched by the National Emergencies Trust, supports voluntary and community organisations to counter financial challenges created by the pandemic.

Closes 22nd October 2021

Community Foundation for NI: Mental Health Support Fund

The Community Foundation NI on behalf of the Department of Health has launched the Mental Health Support Fund to provide support for mental health charities with £10 million over the next three years. Grant values of between £5k and £500k will be made available to charities. 

Closes 1pm on 22nd October 2021.

BBC Northern Ireland: Broadcast Appeal

Applications are now being invited for upcoming Broadcast Appeal slots on local television and radio. The Community Life programme is broadcast four times a year on BBC Northern Ireland television. It profiles the work and support needs of a featured charity and also includes news about developments within the community and voluntary sectors.

Deadline is 5pm on 22nd October 2021

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council: Communities Leading Change

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council and its Community Planning Partners is inviting community groups in the district to apply for funding for projects that promote positive mental health by improving social connections through a participatory budgeting.
