Arts Council of Northern Ireland Funding
The Organisations Digital Evolution Awards, worth £40,000, from The National Lottery, offers arts organisations the opportunity to apply for grants of up to £10,000 each for proposals that will take place between 4 April 2022 and 28 February 2023. Programme Priorities: Creation of digital arts, Supporting artists / arts organisations to make digital art for the first time or working with digital technology which they have not used before, and Encouraging cross-sectoral collaboration.
This £25k funding award is eligible for partnerships that use the arts within new and emerging technologies. With the continuing evolution of immersive technology, it has the potential to expand the possibilities of how the arts can be distributed and utilised in new and innovate ways.
Deutsche Bank Awards for Creative Entrepreneurs (DBACE)
DBACE celebrates and realises the potential of young creative entrepreneurs between the ages of 18-30 who are driven by a mission to build and sustain social value through their enterprise. Up to £20,000 investment and 12 months business support.
Seed funding for village revival projects in Northern Ireland from the Architectural Heritage Fund is available now. Project Viability Grants of up to £10,000 available under Heritage Transformed, part of their Northern Ireland programme, supported by the Department for Communities. Deadline is the end of Feb 2022. Statement from website, January 2022: The BBC's Children in Need are making changes to their grant making strategy which will launch in Spring 2022. The aim of the strategy is to improve accessibility, equity, diversity and inclusion, and make it easier for projects to apply for funding. Find out more here.
A range of grants are currently open with upcoming deadlines including the Treasure Ireland project, part of their new Community Grants Programme which provides funding of between £500 and £10,000 for maintenance and repair for churches or chapels in Northern Ireland.

Deadlines for all other delivery partners are 28 January 2022 at differing times:

- Sports NI, Arts Council NI, Glor na nGeal, and NI Screen – 12:00pm(noon) on 28 January 2022.

Newry, Mourne & Down District Council financial assistance
The Council invites applications for Sports Capital funding.
Closing date is Monday 28th February at 12:00 noon.
Applications must fall into one of the five categories: Arts and Heritage, Education, Environment, Health, and Social or Economic Disadvantage. Four deadlines per year. Note: Applications under Health from 21 October 2021 until 20 October 2023 should focus on programmes and activities that aim to support, maintain and improve mental health across all ages or health care for older people. Applications under Social or Economic Disadvantage from 21 October 2021 until 20 October 2023 should focus on disadvantaged children, or housing and homeless people. The minimum grant size is £10,000. Awards of more than £25,000 are rare.
Next deadline 20th January 2022.
Eligible registered charities, educational establishments or organisation with a formal not-for-profit constitution can apply for funding of up to £10,000 for projects using IT and addressing Enhancing opportunity for young people through more effective education, Improving the quality of life for the disadvantaged, disabled or socially excluded, Helping charities and other not-for-profit organisations get the best out of IT, and Improving the understanding of IT and its capabilities to the wider public.
Deadline 24th January 2022.
