Community Foundation for Northern Ireland: Keadue Fund

The Keadue Fund is now open. In its 4th year the fund supports community groups & organisations located in Derry & Strabane & surrounding areas. Grant sizes of £20k available.

The Big Give: The Green Match Fund

The Green Match Fund is a match funding campaign for charities which are working on environmental issues as part of their core mission. All public donations made to participating charities via theBigGive.org.uk during the week of the campaign (22-29 April) will be matched up to a specific amount.  Each participating charity will be awarded a ring-fenced amount of match funding which will be used to match public donations - either £2,500, £5,000 or £10,000. Deadline 25th February 2022. Jordan Sinnott Foundation Trust

To support vulnerable and under privileged children and young adults to access healthy recreation and ensure that they have the opportunity to fulfil their potential and enjoy the life changing benefits that comes from sport. The Charity Trustees usually make grants of between £500 and £5000.

Home Instead Charities Grants Programme

They have revised their grant making programme to now include small grass roots organisations who are not registered as a charity. They specifically fund activities and projects that further the needs of our ageing adult population through well-being activities and programmes to prevent social isolation and loneliness. They have lowered their age category to support the over 55’s and will further support organisations by connecting you to one of their local offices so you can build even more support in your local area.

ESB Community Fund

Administered by Groundwork NI, the ESB Wind Farm Community Fund provides grants of £1,000 to £6,000.to support community projects which clearly address current and emerging local issues, needs and opportunities, while also seeking to develop and build upon existing initiatives. Application deadline 12pm(noon) on 11th March 2022.

Cultivating Community Farming

Cultivating Community Farming (CCF) is an exciting new support programme funded by the Co-op Foundation that will accelerate the growth and capacity of community farming projects across Northern Ireland (NI) over 2 years through networking, mentoring, skills development and capacity building. The main goal of the CCF project is to accelerate the growth and capacity of community farming projects in Northern Ireland. please request an application form from Tizana and return by 12.00pm (noon) on the 7th March 2022 at [email protected]

Upcoming deadlines

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council Grants & Bursary Programme 2022/23

The District Council deliver a range of grant programmes each year available to voluntary clubs, societies, community and sporting organisations. Groups must be based in the Council area.

Application deadline 5pm on 15th February 2022.

Building the Community Pharmacy Partnership (BCPP)

The programme aims to promote and support local communities to work in partnership with community pharmacists to address local health and social wellbeing needs using a community development approach.

Round 42 Level 1 closing date is 17 February 2022.

Covid Recovery Programme Employment & Skills from Department for Communities

The Covid Recovery Programme Employment & Skills Initiative will provide funding for the next three years for grants to support individuals and not-for-profit organisations with costs for a variety of new or enhanced roles within the Arts, Heritage, Creative Industries, Sports and Voluntary and Community sectors.

Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council Community Grants

  • Community Festivals Fund supports locally based festivals across the council area with grants of between £1,000 and £3,500.
  • Community Support Grant Programme assists Community & Voluntary Organisations within the Council area for community development related programmes. Grants from £2,500 to £5,500.

Deadline 12pm(noon) on 21 February 2022.
