Community Foundation for NI: Mental Health Support Fund

Funded by the Department of Health, this Fund provides support for mental health charities with £10 million over the next three years. Grant values of between £5k and £500k will be made available to charities.

The Naturesave Trust opening 1st September

Welcome applications from charities, social enterprises and grassroots community organisations based within the UK covering a range of environmental topics.

Northern Ireland Museums Council: The Museums Connect Grant

The Grant can support the costs of re-opening in a way that ensures the safety and confidence of staff, volunteers, and visitors while restrictions are still in place due to COVID-19. Accredited museums can apply for up to £2,000. Round 2 opens 2 August 2021.

Toy Trust funds help disadvantaged children and their families

This year they welcome applications from small UK children's charities - working for the benefit of children across the UK. Closes end of August for grants.

eBay for Business Awards 2021’s Grand Winner receives £15,000

A chance for social enterprises to win cash prizes and business support packages. Apply before 2 August 2021.

Upcoming deadlines

Coca Cola Thank You Fund

Grants of €5,000 or €10, 000 from the Thank You Fund to fund projects that inspire and support young people in Ireland and Northern Ireland under the theme of Building for Better.

Closing date: 16 July 2021

Ulster Scots Agency: Festival Fund

The Community Festival Programme supports the delivery of Ulster-Scots Community Festivals enabling people to experience and learn about Ulster-Scots culture, heritage and language.

Closing date: 5pm on 18 July 2021.

Arts Council NI: Arts and Older People

The programme provides funding to arts-based projects that address related social issues such as poverty, isolation, loneliness and isolation, positive mental wellbeing and strengthening the voice of older people. Grants from £1,000 to £10,000 are available.

Closing date: 12pm (noon) on 21 July 2021

National Lottery Heritage Fund: Steps to Sustainability

Delivered by the Social Enterprise Academy and funded by the National Lottery, heritage organisations can apply to the Fund to develop new business ideas with support, training, and up to £10,000 funding to get it off the ground.

Closing date: 23 July 2021

Social Enterprise NI: Social Enterprise Awards 2021

The annual Awards promote and showcase some of the best examples of social enterprise across Northern Ireland. 13 categories recognise and celebrate the excellence in social enterprise and the outstanding achievements using trade to deliver social impact.

Deadline extended: 30 July 2021.
